School Web Site
A school website could be made up of a series of blogs that are interconnected, allowing each teacher to contribute to their portion of the school website, with the administrator as the aggregator on the home page. Pulling together and highlighting what is going on in the school.
At Centre d’Apprentissage du Haut-Madawaska, for instance, a blog has replaced the school’s web site. The C.A.H.M. weblog links to individual blogs kept by students, teachers, department heads and administrators to present a dynamic and up to date picture of the school. Each week, the school’s director uses feeds from classroom and student blogs to post an update of what’s going on in the school. The front page may include recognition of students or teachers, short summaries of classroom work that’s being done and information about upcoming events.
Alternatively one blog could make up a school or district web site.
